Where are the least and most expensive homes in southern california? I would guess Beverly Hills for most expensive and the Mojave desert for the cheapest.

That’s probably accurate. Here is a house in Beverly Hills for 90 million. http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/Kirkland_Beverly-Hills_CA_90210_1113964740 and here is a house in Mojave for $25,000. http://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/1882-Rd-Barstow-Rd_Mojave_CA_93501_1113295460
I don’t know what either would rent for. Fun, though.

Hi there. What can you share with your readers about homes that offer ‘Lease/Option’ (ie, option to buy, rather than lease indefinately)? I know many that are losing their homes to short sale, foreclosure, and others that simply just walked away since they were 30%, 40%, even 50% underwater! These are nice, honest families with children who want to buy again – sooner, rather than later. How would a prospective tenant go about finding a home that offers Lease/Option in California? Do they even exist? Thank you.
